Social Entrepreneurship
CCS was founded on the belief that every individual and family deserves access to expert guidance, regardless of income, diagnosis, or circumstance. We are a mission-driven practice at the intersection of case management, clinical expertise, and social entrepreneurship.
We put this mission into action not only through our direct work with families, but also through community leadership. As active board members of LOGVA (League of Guardians), we serve as pro bono guardians for vulnerable individuals and send members of our team to provide hands-on support. This approach gives clients the benefit of robust, well-rounded expertise while strengthening the network of care across the community. Our long-term vision is to expand CCS offerings so that more families across the region, and eventually beyond, can benefit from case management that is both professionally rigorous and socially responsive.
Cultivating the Next Generation
At CCS, our mission is not only to serve families today but also to shape the future of care. We believe that the best way to strengthen systems for clients is to invest in the next generation of leaders who will carry this work forward.
Each year, we welcome students and trainees from public health, medicine, occupational therapy, social work, and health research. Interns learn directly from our team, gaining hands-on experience in case management, care planning, and advocacy. They see what it means to bridge science, policy, and lived experience, and how those skills can change outcomes for families.
For clients, this means access to a team enriched by fresh perspectives and emerging expertise. For students, it means mentorship from seasoned professionals committed to social entrepreneurship and serving the underserved. For our team, it means staying curious, innovative, and accountable; constantly challenged and inspired by the next generation to grow, adapt, and push the boundaries of what care and case management can be.
Many of our alumni have gone on to leadership roles in healthcare, research, and policy, and we are proud to be part of their journey.
