Heather Gomez
Heather is an occupational therapist and senior care manager with more than a decade of experience in home health, rehabilitation, and long-term care. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Exercise Science and Psychology and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, combining scientific training with a deep understanding of human performance and aging.
Heather has advanced expertise in Medicare and home health systems. She is nationally certified in OASIS Clinical Assessments (COS-C and COQS), the gold-standard tool used to determine eligibility and reimbursement, giving her the insight to help clients maximize their benefits while receiving the right level of care.
As a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS), Heather also brings specialized training in home accessibility and safety. She guides families in planning and implementing modifications that support independence and dignity, from short-term recovery needs to long-term aging-in-place solutions.
At CCS, Heather integrates her clinical expertise, systems knowledge, and leadership experience to guide clients and families through complex decisions. She is recognized for her ability to deliver both technical precision and compassionate support, ensuring that care and environments align with each client’s values and goals.
