Amy Schubert Neal

Amy Schubert Neal is an experienced occupational therapist dedicated to helping older adults live safely, independently, and with dignity. She has spent more than 30 years working across diverse clinical settings, including outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation, assisted living, long-term care, and home health.

Her clinical specialties include neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation, with expertise in Parkinson’s disease, stroke recovery, visual deficits, hand and upper extremity dysfunction, and arthritis management. Amy designs personalized care plans, advises on adaptive and durable medical equipment, and provides guidelines for home modifications to enable clients to live safely in their home environment.

Amy also brings extensive leadership experience, having managed home and outpatient care agency contracts and directed a multidisciplinary team of more than 20 rehabilitation professionals. She has successfully established new rehabilitation departments from the ground up—including equipment procurement, policy and procedure development, marketing strategies, and streamlined documentation systems.

With deep knowledge of Medicare and private insurance, Amy helps clients maximize their benefits and access the full scope of care and resources available to them. She also shares her expertise through community education for seniors and caregivers, covering topics such as Parkinson’s disease, arthritis management, post-concussion care, and adaptive gardening.
